Leeds Hot Air Balloon Ride

Fun & Interesting Facts

Leeds gave the world one of the most famous board games in history – Cluedo. Its inventor, Anthony E Pratt, took his idea for a game called ‘Murder’ to Waddington’s Games in Leeds back in 1944. The team loved but couldn’t put it into production until after the Second World War, when it was finally released in 1945.

About

Take flight on a truly unforgettable Leeds hot air balloon ride for a spectacular airborne adventure.

With the stunning city skyline of Leeds to the west and glorious open countryside to the east, a balloon flight from Lotherton Hall offers the best of both worlds.

Admire sweeping views across gorgeous landscapes as you go up, up and away on the experience of a lifetime.

If the wind takes you south, keep an eye out for sights such as the River Aire and the Aire and Calder Navigation canal.

To the east lies a pretty patchwork of woods and farmland, with views over Castleford and even, if it’s a very clear day, as far as the North Sea and the River Humber.

A Leeds hot air balloon ride over beautiful West Yorkshire really will leave you on cloud nine, long after you come back down to earth.
